Where the enemy sprites in enemies.png come from. Two of the packs are CC0, a public domain dedication, whose text is CC0-1.0.txt in this folder. One is CC-BY 4.0, whose text is CC-BY-4.0.txt. CC-BY 4.0 asks for credit and for a note of what was changed, so both are below, and client/CREDITS.md carries the credit where a player can read it. None of the downloads carried a license file of its own, so each license is the one stated on its page, copied here because a page can be edited later. The hauler is not in enemies.png. It is Lee's own drawing, res://assets/hauler.png, exported from hauler.aseprite, and tiles.json points at that file directly so a new export reaches the game with no other step. enemies.png is seven 32x32 cells in one row, no margin and no gap. Every sprite was changed the same way: - Cut out of its pack at its own size, with no scaling. - Recolored. Every grey was moved onto the blue-grey ramp of the original enemy drone on tile-assets.png (#181425, #262b44, #3a4466, #5a6988, #8b9bb4, #c0cbdc, #ffffff), with the sprite's most common grey on #5a6988, and every other color was moved to the nearest color of the Endesga 32 palette the rest of the game's art uses. The game tells the enemy kinds apart by multiplying that body color by a tint per kind (tiles.json), so the body has to be the same color on every sprite. - Placed in its cell with its lowest row on row 17 (row 20 for the two 21-pixel sprites) and centered on x=16, so it stands on the middle of the tile it is drawn over. check_tiles.gd fails if a sprite's feet move off the tile's top face. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sci-Fi RogueLike Pixel Art https://opengameart.org/content/sci-fi-roguelike-pixel-art By Emcee Flesher.
